In this role as an IT Operations Engineer you must be able to work in a cross-functional team environment. Day-to-day work requires regular engagement and communication with many stakeholders for the handling of incidents; problems and issues; managing resolutions; change management corrective actions and root cause/lessons learned collection and dissemination of relevant information.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Mid-day/evening engagement
  • Resolution of Incident Tickets, Data and Access Requests
  • Deployment preparation and implementation
  • Azure, Databricks and SQL Upgrades and maintenance
  • Strategic operational improvement initiatives
  • Operate, maintain, monitor and troubleshoot IT Infrastructure, hosted applications, jobs, pipelines, etc.
  • DevOps process and engagement
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Development and Quality Engineering Teams
  • Follow standard ITIL processes
  • Maintain technical documentation
  • Perform other duties as necessary to support company objectives

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years IT Experience
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience within an IT Operations Role
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working with Cloud Computing
  • Experience in migrating services to Public Cloud (Azure)
  • Knowledge of PAAS on Windows Azure Cloud Platform
  • Troubleshooting production issues and identifying root cause
  • Experience on supporting backend applications and databases including Databricks/ADLSv2, SQL, APIs, Microsoft Azure Service Bus, Azure DevOps or similar experience
  • Experience on Application Operations, Azure Devops and Azure Key Vault administration
  • ITIL Incident and change management process knowledge
  • Experience on Release and Build deployments
  • Experience with Networking tools and Network related troubleshooting
  • General experience with storage and backup administration
  • Experience with Active Directory/GPO/DHCP/DNS
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Eg: Azure Monitor, Dynatrace, etc.)
  • Experience with Service Now
  • Hands on Experience on Microsoft Azure
