Remote Inpatient Service Rev Coord

As an Inpatient Service Revenue Coordinator (IPS-RC)) the daily responsibilities will vary upon hospital needs. The IPS-RC will work to provide billing for all hospitals within the first 3 business days of the month. Once billing is complete, the IPS-RC will help correct discrepancies by corresponding with both the field and hospital; as well as contacting all hospitals to ensure collections. Additional requirements maybe needed from the IPS-RC depending on the book of business provided. This can include various reports, account history and special invoicing request. The IPS-RC will need to know how to read, sort, and manipulate account data to perform these duties using various software. Furthermore it will be up to the IPS-RC to ensure that these operations are in compliance with all policies, regulations and contracts.


  • Manage billing and collections for over 150 hospitals within a monthly billing cycle
  • Create and send accurate billing in limited timeframe
  • Ensure that billing corresponds with contracts
  • Develop relations with hospitals and field while maintaining open lines of communication
  • Operate with multiple field teams to rapidly create and/or correct billing for hospitals
  • Correspond with multiple hospitals via email, telephone and fax within 24hr period
  • Evaluate and resolve billing, payment, and account issues quickly
  • Interpret fiscal account data including but not limited to debits, credits, short payments, etc.
  • Deliver precise evaluations of accounts in various formats depending on customer requests
  • Generate various reports within excel as requested
  • Assist with projects or assignments as requested or needed
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with policies and procedures

  • High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree desirable


  • 1 - 2 years related experience
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, proficient in Excel
  • Prior experience with SAP preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
