GI Tech Support Manager - Medical Procedures Unit
The Support Manager functions as a resource to staff, physicians/residents/fellows, and leadership. The Support Manager is responsible for ensuring the periodic performance checks, maintenance, and repairs of departmental equipment as required. The Support Manager ensures proper staffing of GI Technicians and their functions to meet the MPU needs. The Support Manager completes evaluations on the GI Technicians, responsible for daily staffing schedule, vacation requests, and payroll system management. The Support Manager is also responsible for the training and education of staff as needed for new equipment or processes.Qualifications
Previous experience in training and scheduling of staff to be able to support all GI Technicians
Knowledge of medical procedures and scheduling
Working knowledge of medical terminology including CPT and ICD9 codes
Knowledge of CPT and ICD9 codes.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with other employees.
