Job Description

Overview

The Migration Specialist is responsible for migrating data from one on-premise server to another or to the cloud. This role will interface and support both the Project Management Team and the Deployment Services Team. Their goals are to maximize our customer’s onboarding experience with Motorola Solutions mobile video products (Dash Cameras, Body Cameras and Evidence Management Software).

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple data migrations through completion

  • Update customers and management on progress of data migrations.

  • Work with engineering to resolve any issues in the data migration process.

  • Must have working knowledge of both Windows and Linux environments.

  • Experience with remote access into Windows and Linux environments

  • Familiarity with Azure Cloud based applications

  • Discuss and document network infrastructure for wired and wireless communications within the customer’s environment

Basic Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of prior Information Technology experience required
