The Role at a Glance
This position plays a supporting role in the modernization and transformation of the Annuity/Retirement Plan Services Valuation & Modeling team with new technology solutions. S/he will design and develop data & analytics solutions using cutting-edge tools to improve data warehousing, financial reporting, reserve analytics, and various automation efforts. This position provides a broad range of experiences and responsibilities, allowing for growth.What you'll be doing:
- Partner with stakeholders to understand data & analytics needs
- Translate business requests into technical requirements
- Collaborate with team members and the business to influence the use of new tools
- Centralize and standardize data from various sources
- Identify missing gaps and work across the team to map out how to address those
- Leverage modern data science techniques to improve accuracy and efficiency of models
- Help transition manual deliverables to automated reports
- Increase transparency, efficiency, and governance of processes
- Maintain robust process and production documentation
- Document changes and follow change management procedures

The Actuarial Development Program (ADP) at Lincoln Financial Group is an industry-leading program that demonstrates Lincoln Financial’ s commitment to creating highly qualified business leaders. As an ADP participant, you’ll be able to explore your unique interests while developing the essential actuarial, technical, management, communication, and leadership skills you need to succeed.
Program participants receive up to 175 hours of company time to study per exam sitting. Lincoln Financial Group purchases required exam materials and pays exam fees in advance for each program participant.What we're looking for:
