Lincoln National Corporation, Sr Analyst, IT Infrastructure Admin. WFH 100% of the time. Must live within commuting distance of Lincoln National Greensboro, NC office location. DUTIES: Engineer, deploy, and manage the functionality of mission-critical software systems including IBM ACE Integration Bus (IIB/ACE), IBM MQ (Message Queue), Sterling File Gateway, SharePoint, Documentum, and FileNet directly and indirectly through MSPs (Managed Service Providers). Work in cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality middleware services to the enterprise. Collaborate with team members, business users, developers, other infrastructure teams, and end customers on the deployment, lifecycle processes, and automations necessary to support and administer in-scope platforms or systems to improve resilience, performance, and supportability of technology infrastructure. Provide support and guidance for the design, architecture, implementation, and security of infrastructure platform environments that host internal applications and their users. Integrate data and execute administrative and engineering tasks using Business to Business (B2B) and Managed File Transfer (MFT) middleware, IBM Sterling File Gateway, B2B Integrator, IBM MQ, IBM ACE, and MuleSoft Anypoint Gateway. Enforce or create system management and lifecycle processes that align with security, compliance, departmental and best practice policies. Build automation for platform lifecycle events leveraging frameworks and tools such as Puppet to support or replace management and maintenance processes. Deploy, upgrade, and patch systems and components. Store all code and scripts in source control system. Assist in the creation of build and test pipelines for solutions in scope. Execute administrative and engineering tasks for the IBM Sterling suite using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, Complete FTP for file transfer or a similar FTP/SFTP server, IBM Connect:Direct, IIB/ACE, IBM MQ, Anypoint for MuleSoft Anypoint API Gateway, Imperva WAF (Web App Firewall), and CA Service Virtualization. Utilize GitLab for code collaboration, version management, and pipeline tooling. Engineer system lifecycle automation using Puppet. Script using available tooling such as Puppet, Linux shell scripting, Python, and Windows scripting. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology or a related field and 6 years of experience using Shell, Python and PowerShell for scripting and FTP/SFTP file transfer protocols. Experience must include the following: 4 years of experience executing administrative and engineering tasks for IBM ACE, IBM MQ, and Mulesoft Anypoint platform; 2 years of experience utilizing GitLab, Puppet, and CA Service Virtualization; and 1 year of experience utilizing IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and IBM Connect: Direct.
