The Meta Legal team is seeking a motivated, highly organized, detail-oriented candidate to join the Legal Risk Management organization. The right candidate must have a strong work ethic, excellent judgment, and exceptional partnering and communication skills. We are seeking a team-oriented problem solver with demonstrated experience in risk strategy, risk governance and reporting. You will support the development of the program strategy, design, and execution of governance structures to ensure leadership has the ability to provide oversight over risk and compliance matters facing the company. You will work with other team members to develop an approach to identify emerging risks and help pull together insights from risk intelligence and data to report to leadership and other compliance and cross-functional partners. You must work well in high pressure situations, be comfortable with ambiguity, have risk experience in a broad spectrum of sectors and across risk domains, and have experience developing presentations for an executive audience. This role will help shape the standardization and centralization of governance and reporting in an organization that is highly decentralized across risk. As such, the candidate must be an exceptional communicator and demonstrate the ability to influence and build relationships with diverse teams.

Required SkillsRisk Strategy and Governance Program Manager Responsibilities:
  • Support the development of strategy and execution of a management governance forum, including: developing meeting agendas and pre-read materials, managing meeting logistics, recording action items and ensuring follow up activities are executed
  • Develop presentations and risk reporting structures to support management oversight and decision-making on risk and compliance matters
  • Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to bring initiatives before the governance forum and ensure action items and oversight activities are implemented
  • Contribute to the continuous evolution and scaling of an end-to-end risk governance program, including maintenance of standing agenda, updating frameworks and policy documents, and integrating new partners into the forum
  • Work with other team members to develop a data-driven approach to identifying emerging risks
  • Develop insights from risk intelligence and data and facilitate reporting to leadership and partners
  • Support other risk and compliance related activities, including execution of risk assessments, risk reporting, and trainings
Minumum QualificationMinimum Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of compliance/audit/risk management and/or corporate strategy experience in a large complex organization
  • Knowledge of corporate governance best practices and experience in developing risk governance and reporting frameworks
  • Experience with risk reporting and insight development
  • Experience developing presentations for executives
  • Project management experience
Preferred QualificationPreferred Qualifications:
  • Big 4/Consulting firm experience
  • Demonstrated experience with meeting coordination and facilitation
  • Experience in using risk data to identify emerging risks
  • Highly motivated and proactive, and experience working with minimal supervision to multitask and manage workload to timely completion
