Meta is seeking a Strategy and Program Manager for our Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Corporate Secretary to assist with strategic priorities, communications, and project management on high priority, cross-functional issues. This position will play a key role in supporting initiatives across the company, including with respect to the Board of Directors, and act as an advisor and key support to our Corporate Secretary and Corporate leadership team.This is a great opportunity to work on novel issues in an exciting, fast-paced environment.

Required SkillsStrategy and Program Manager, Corporate Secretary's Office Responsibilities:
  • Support the Corporate Secretary in matters relating to the Board of Directors, including managing the Board liaison and overseeing the coordination of materials across the company
  • Support the Corporate Secretary in proactively managing key priorities and initiatives across the org, including through liaison with colleagues, organizing meetings and follow-up on key issues, and helping to leverage leadership time and attention on critical matters
  • Provide and coordinate support with respect to org-wide management initiatives and issues, including agendas and planning Legal leadership, offsite and org-wide meetings
  • Conduct analysis and work with Meta colleagues to prepare background for meetings with key partners (e.g. identify goals and talking points, provide background on attendees, issues, problems or decisions that need to be made)
  • Act as liaison for internal and external engagements, oversee preparation of materials, and support opportunities to proactively engage with stakeholders on legal and regulatory developments that are important to Meta
  • Conduct or commission research on a variety of topics, relevant issues and organizations, and synthesize this research into executive summaries with key business and communication insights
  • Provide project management and coordination support across the group. Participate in after-action review and analysis, and develop remediation and mitigation measures when needed
  • Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Meta’s Public Policy, Communications, Product Teams, Human Resources, and Finance, to respond to fast-moving inquiries requiring legal support
Minumum QualificationMinimum Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of work experience, including public company experience, providing strategic advice including in regards to communications
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects in a highly collaborative environment
  • Project management and decision-making experience
Preferred QualificationPreferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with boards of directors, crisis preparation and response, or issue management
  • Experience with confidentiality and using discretion
  • Experience shifting priorities while maintaining organization and control
