Job Description About This Role The Senior Manager of Corporate Development Operations will provide critical support and contribute to the success of the business development team across all business development transactions, as well as supporting the business development team in other operational matters, including management of databases, organizing, tracking deal governance meetings, and due diligence. This role will report into the Head of Business Development and collaborate closely with all groups and key stakeholders in R&D, Finance and EEPC. What You'll Do The candidate will have experience working in a corporate development or business development function, demonstrated the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work independently, and a strong attention to detail. They will have strong planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Accountable for deal governance and coordination of the Business Development Review Committee Accountable for deal tracking activities, systems and reporting e.g. Monthly Deal Portfolio Management Provide project management support to key opportunities in Business Development; Support external engagement activities e.g. JP Morgan Healthcare Conference Coordinate and support due diligence activities for Business Development projects across the organization, including working with potential partners, ensuring that diligence activities are completed in a timely manner, ensuring that diligence reports are completed with quality in a timely manner, and other due diligence activities as appropriate Support ad hoc Business Development projects, as identified across the organization. Qualifications Required Skills BS/BA required Understanding of business development processes Demonstrated project management skills, planning capabilities, and continuous improvement mindset Business and scientific acumen, with ability to understand the company’s strategic goals Ability to work cross-functionally across the company Highly motivated, results-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including the ability to work across functions and communicate with executive levels of the organization Preferred Skills At least one year experience working in a business development or corporate development operations team Additional Information Our mission to find therapies for neurological and rare diseases is a unique focus within our industry and this shared purpose is what connects us as a team.
