WGL - Senior Executive Assistant


If you are a Senior Executive Assistant, with a history of supporting C-Suite Executives, you should consider this opportunity.

You Will

  • Demonstrate a high degree of discretion, judgment, flexibility, self-starter, and professionalism to respond to and direct inquiries from company officers, outside attorneys, other utilities, federal administrative agencies, and gas industry trade associations.

  • Comfortable in managing ambiguity

  • Using discretion and independent judgment, proactively manage the day to day operations and executive schedules; serve as a liaison to other departments and external clients as needed

  • Proactively manage and either resolve or appropriately re-route a high volume of emails and calls from internal and external clients

  • Supports the execution of departmental special projects and initiatives

  • Coordinate and book Domestic and International travel, and create detailed itineraries

  • Prepare meeting agendas and materials, including PPT presentations

  • Submit invoices and expense reimbursements into A/P system

  • Researches the nature of customer inquiries and works to resolve issues and uses tact and diplomacy to convey resolution to the customer.

  • Recommends changes/innovative solutions to address problems and improve work guidelines, systems and processes as needed.

  • Interacts with external audiences to interpret guidelines and procedures and/or to resolve daily problems associated with programs, systems, and services.


You Have

  • High School Diploma/GED; Associated preferred

  • 8+ Years of administrative support experience, preferably at the executive level

  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters in a professional manner using discretion, judgment, tact, and diplomacy.

  • Proven ability to use computer software and applications, including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to share, retrieve, and research business information.

  • Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and effective working relationships with supervisors, peers, and outside contacts.
