Field Capability Business Specialist - Fixed Term Contract
Business Context and Main Purpose of the Job
The Field Capability Business Specialist FTC role supports the Total General Trade business especially on the Big Rocks Campaign, with the three big rocks namely –Hapi Dealership Program, Digitization, and Expansion 4.0.
For Hapi Dealership, the FCBS supports the execution of the program in the entire area such as resource management, distributor-to-head-office coordination, and auditing of operations. The role entails heavy field work to help distributors fast track programs, aid in retailer enrollment, and create strategic improvements for the business.
For digitization, the FCBS is in charge of the ensuring digitization of existing and new Selecta outlets, overseeing usage of the application through on time and in full promo executions, and monitoring online vs offline usage, all with the help of the Digital Accounts Officer deployed on their area.
For expansion, the FCBS supports the execution of the program nationwide through strategies on building online community for Selecta customers, resource management, distributor-to-head-office coordination, and auditing of operations. The role entails heavy on managing Selecta distributors to help fast track programs, aid in retailer enrollment, and create strategic improvements for the business.
1.Highly accountable for executing Unilever IC’s retailer programs and growth in his/her territory via effective management of distributor teams and resources.
2.Should be well-versed in field/distributor operations as he/she will have to coordinate with Distributors and aid in retailer-driven programs.
3.Accountable for fast implementation of Unilever’s retailer programs and Distributor’s compliance to the said programs.
4.He/she should exemplify strong team leadership and team commitment skills, both from the field operations and working virtually, in order to drive excellent and honest execution in his/her own territory.
5.He/she should have an entrepreneurial mindset to analyze and provide strategic solutions for the situation of his/her area to help with problems on the ground or opportunities that the business can capitalize on.
Relevant Qualifications and Experience
·Preferably 2-4 years experience in General Trade / Distributor Trade Sales in an FMCG environment (fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
·Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
·Must be dynamic and has passion for excellence
·Bachelor’s Degree holder
·Willing to do heavy field work and be assigned to an area at weeks at a time
·Social media skills & knowledge in FB group community handling
With leadership, management, and analytical skills
·Amenable to a fixed term employment contract
