Supply Chain Specialist

The Specialist will complete a variety of tasks supporting the Distribution Replenishment and Inventory Planning in a multi-DC network, and the execution of material movements between sites.

Key process includes:

1. Distribution Replenishment and Inventory Planning

2. Order Allocation and Execution

In addition, the position will be expected to work with large amounts of planning and inventory data, and should have a passion for data analytics, process improvement, and reporting automation

3. Reporting and Analytics


Distribution Replenishment and Inventory Planning

  • Monitor planning reports to assure inventory is optimally balanced in each of the logistics shipping locations

  • Complete regular lot dating reviews to assure lots are consumed in FEFO (First Expiring First Out)

  • Execute the monthly stop sale destruction process

  • Monitor network capacity, and highlight any concerns where capacity exceed 85%

  • Manage inventory in the offsite overflow locations

Order Allocation

  • Create STO’s (Stock Transfer Orders) for all product movement within North America locations

  • Track inventory batch releases, and notify key stakeholders or critical releases

  • Coordination with transportation and sites to assure STO execution per delivery dates

  • Expedite with intercompany operation, customs, or carriers as needed

  • Ability to troubleshoot SAP errors related to STO processing, and escalate as needed

Reporting and Analytics

  • Ability to create a wide variety of ad hoc reporting solutions under the direction of the Team Lead using advanced Excel, Tableau, Power BI or similar reporting capabilities

  • Assist with the implementation of new planning tools under the direction of the Deployment Lead

  • Run the monthly key performance metrics for the Deployment Team


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Data Management, or another related field

  • 2+ years of combined Supply and Logistics operations experience, ideally in the Pharmaceutical sector

  • Strong technical capabilities utilizing Excel, Tableau, BI or other reporting tools

  • ERP system knowledge preferred

  • Demonstrated understanding of Inventory Management and accounting principles

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in distribution metrics, costs management, and operational compliance

  • APICS or equivalent Supply Chain certification preferred

Language requirement

  • Strong verbal and written English

  • Spanish preferred
