As Manager, Data Architecture, you will be responsible for Managing medium to large-sized complex Software Development projects for Data Analytics and Machine Learning at Retail Store Systems team by reviewing project requirements; translating requirements into technical solutions; work with Enterprise Analytics teams, researching and identifying alternative solutions; determining needed solution based on return on investment and value add to the business; gathering requested information (for example, design documents, product requirements, wire frames); writing and developing code; conducting unit testing; perform extensive POC on new ML platforms at edge and cloud, communicating status and issues to team members and stakeholders; collaborating with project team and cross functional teams; interpreting information and identifying a solution; troubleshooting open issues and bug-fixes; and ensuring on-time delivery and hand-off
Troubleshoots business and production issues by gathering information (for example, issue, impact, criticality, possible root cause); performing root cause analysis to reduce future issues; engaging support teams to assist in the resolution of issues; developing solutions; driving the development of an action plan; performing actions as designated in the plan; interpreting the results to determine further action; and completing online documentation.
Participates in the discovery phase of medium to large-sized projects to come up with high level design by partnering with the Retail Enterprise Architecture, Enterprise Analytics and Data team, business/operations, and user experience teams.
Assists in providing guidance to groups of six to ten engineers, for assigned Data Engineering projects by proving pertinent documents, directions, examples, and timeline.

-5+ years software engineering experience.
-5+ years experience designing, leading, and implementing technology projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 7 years’ experience in software engineering or related field.
• Experience working in Retail/ Health Care.
• Working experience with some or all the following: AWS, Containerization, associated build and deployment CI/CD pipelines, Lambda development
- 7 years of experience designing, leading and implementing technology projects.
- Masters Degree Preferred.
• Proven Experience with leading complex data analytical projects and converting business problems to technical code
• Experience working in an Agile team
• Strong experience and project implementation on Computer Vision AI.
• A sound understanding of HTTP and REST-style web services is required.
• Out of the box problem solving skills and willingness to learn and experiment new technologies
