The Senior Manager of Rebate P&L Strategic Planning role is a highly visible opportunity in our Rebate P&L Strategy team, responsible for driving strategies to advance rebate performance and profitability for both clients and the PBM organization.

As the prescription drug landscape changes with new high-cost therapies, increasing pressure to reduce pharmaceutical costs and the evolving policy landscape, the right person for this role is a highly motivated, forward-thinker who can identify opportunities and leverage matrix partners to develop innovative strategies effectively and efficiently. You will use your abilities to deliver actionable insights to Rebate P&L Strategy Leadership and the broader Trade organization.

Your responsibilities will include evaluation of client rebate targets to identify issues and trends. You will manage rebate guarantee mitigation activities, owning cross-team processes and planning for client rebate financial management. In addition to working with colleagues across the Trade teams to consolidate deliverables for leadership, you will partner with other functions outside of the Trade organization to define/execute new processes that drive value and efficiencies. This is an outstanding opportunity with exposure to high profile clients and senior executives.

Additional responsibilities will be to:
- Understand and manage client rebate impacts of formulary strategies, pharma contract changes, and market events

- Collaborate across Trade, Underwriting, and Finance partners to create/streamline processes and support cross-team rebate initiatives and future planning

- Develop and maintain consolidated Rebate P&L deliverables for financial forecast exercises and executive requests

- Manage weekly/monthly reports with cross-functional input, including rebate targets and exposure trends, rebate ranking reports, contract improvement assumptions, and performance tracking for new formulary templates

- Assist in development of analyses & materials for executive-level audiences, including leading work with cross-functional partners to inform content and resolve data needs

- Manage documentation of process maps, new guiding principles, options analyses as needed; consult on recommended tools to support process improvement initiatives

- Provide additional project management support for key projects/initiatives as needed
To be successful, you should possess:

- Experience developing analyses and presentations to explain business issues and/or recommend strategies

- Strong problem solving, analytical, oral and written communication skills

- Ability to effectively engage with internal teams of varying backgrounds, demonstrating deep analytical understanding in a consumable way

- Ability to create and maintain effective tools to drive efficient management and execution of business deliverables

**Will consider 100% remote from anywhere in the US. Residence within a commutable distance to one of the following offices is preferred:

Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in healthcare, financial modeling/analysis or actuarial role
- Graduate level education may substitute for experience
- Advanced capabilities using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in managed care which may include PBM, health plans, pharmaceutical market access, with a focus on financial strategy
- 5+ years experience with pharmacy benefit management, employer or health plan contracts, prescription drug rebates, prescription drug spend, and/or formulary strategies
- Experience manipulating and analyzing data from large databases using SAS, SQL or other appropriate software
- Exposure and/or knowledge of the evolving pharmaceutical regulatory environment

- Bachelor's degree in finance, pharmacy, healthcare, or related field required; or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree and/or actuarial designation preferred
