Job Description
CVS Pharmacy, Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Wellesley, MA: Advisor, Data Scientist to leverage mathematical and computational modeling methods to optimize test design and ensure statistically accurate reads of information. Duties include: participate in the development of Experimentation Design for retail personalization efforts, including but not limited to A/B test design, designing and monitoring test design, performance and developing recommendation for the strategy’s learning agenda, business problem solving and guidance on methodologies; guide optimization of experience through measurement and insights; contribute to the creation and measurement of retail personalization experimentation efforts; transform data into actionable customer centric insights, developing analytical insights, creating and implementing the experimental design and measurement plan, including A/B test design, Multivariate testing, and monitoring test design and developing recommendation for the strategy’s learning agenda; work with business partners (internal and external) to define requirements and develop solutions for data/reporting needs; drive campaign optimization testing roadmap, help the implementation from pre-test analysis, test design to execution support, statistical measurement and post-test analysis, and synthesizing the results/recommendation; responsible for strategic customer analytics projects, including business problem solving and guidance on methodologies; develop analytical framework to support the business problems from data acquisition to creating measurement methodology and tracking metrics; utilize SQL, SAS, Teradata, R, and/or Python (or any other statistical analytical tools) to develop data driven analytics and Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to communicate the insights across organization; build presentations related to solutions for the test design and measurement plan; explain the complex measurement concept and analytical results through use of visualization and storytelling; and apply expertise with SQL, SAS, Teradata, Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis and communication, Advanced Analytics techniques, statistical analysis, and statistical modeling.

Required Qualifications
Master’s (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field and three (3) years of experience. Requires two (2) years of experience with each of the following: SQL, Teradata, and Python; Personalization analytics; Statistical Experiments (A/B testing); translating business problems into statistical problems; extracting and structuring large volumes of data; examine and interpret data by leveraging quantitative reasoning and mathematical analysis; communicate complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders; and collaboration across multiple functional teams.
