People Analytics Project Manager

This position is responsible for leading and coordinating the successful execution of People Analytics programs and operational activities. They will be an integral part of the Total Rewards Team. This position plays a critical liaison role with cross functional stakeholders to ensure programs and operations are well managed, delivered on-time, and within scope that drive business results according to corporate strategies, and contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the team.

This position will report directly to the Director, Compensation & People Analytics and will be based in Gaithersburg (CHQ) or Remote. Travel to other Emergent locations may be required.

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and coordination of Compensation and People Analytics initiatives and operational activities
  • Lead and/or collaborate on the implementation, communication, and administration of Compensation and People Analytics programs and projects
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of programs and processes to identify and drive efficiencies
  • Partner with HRIS, IT, and other partners to audit and update Compensation/HR related information
  • Manage and leverage tools that aid in data gathering, reporting, presentations, and analytics
  • Provide enterprise Compensation and People Analytics system, data, and program support, inclusive of workforce and salary planning tools (i.e. SuccessFactors, Payfactors, Tableau, etc.)
  • Develop and execute against project plans for key initiatives to ensure successful execution and implementation, including the engagement of key stakeholders
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to recommend and advise on the best courses of actions for projects and initiatives

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Finance, HR, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years progressive experience managing complex HR or analytics programs and projects
  • In-depth understanding of and demonstrated experience with project management methodologies
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts for a range of audiences
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite and/or similar software and applications
  • Demonstrated ability to work across all levels of the organization in a collaborative manner
  • Strong ability to exercise judgment in dealing with complex, sensitive, and often confidential information
