As a Visual Inspection Technician, you will develop into a Subject Matter Expert for Vision Technology of Automatic Visual Inspection and operation of Leak Detection systems.

You are required to develop skillsets in maintenance and vision diagnostics for automatic visual inspection system and leak detection system on site. You will support the production department by troubleshooting and resolving issues with interventions and fixes; observe; understand & report in the field for improvement of false ejects. You will also support the department by completing VI/LD equipment projects and quality systems documentation.

This role will give YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Develop and tune existing vision recipe tools; Clone vision recipes and provide understand vision tools. Provide intervention in case of a high eject rate; fix and sustain production and discuss issues with global expert

  • Provide deviation investigation, Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA), and change control ownership for all aspects of the vision inspection system and leak detection systems

  • Responsibilities include writing of change controls; performance of validation tests and upload latest recipes within the HMI Confirm Root Cause analysis for false reject and lead improvements for changes in upstream processes (suppression of waves/bubble/scratches, etc.)

  • Propose handling improvements and knowledge of upstream process: crimping equipment, filling equipment, sterilization tunnel etc.

  • Develop training programs for equipment operation, preventive maintenance, test protocol execution, and vision recipe management

  • Support the SME I on preventive maintenance, defect kit management, and vendor management for the automatic vision inspection and leak detection machines

  • Perform vision maintenance which includes performance of diagnostic alignment and calibration of vision components, replacement of SVIMs, calibration of pressure sensors, and the scheduling of shutdown activities

  • Own the creation and continued maintenance of the Spare Parts and Preventative Maintenance lists for the machines

  • In real-time, provide escalations of pertinent KPIs for ejection rate and suggest and execute continuous improvement projects

  • Participate on cross-functional teams with global counterparts, to address specific problems and facilitate discussion, enabling procedures to become more efficient, and to build and enhance interdepartmental relationships

  • Relevant technical associates with 1+ years experience

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Experience with generating options, resolve problems, prioritizing solutions, selecting optimal solutions and implementing decisions.
  • Working knowledge of cGMPs, and the ability to quickly grasp and apply site policies and procedures and relate them to project scope. Must possess a technical understanding of industry and science practices related to the business.
  • Experience with traveling internationally 10-25% of the time.
  • Experience with making oral group presentations and facilitate team discussions to include persuading others, providing information, and explaining concepts.
  • Experience with driving site objectives and results; work in a fluid environment; drive culture & lead initiatives.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills. The ability to function within team based organization.
  • Experience with analyzing information, problems, situations, practices or procedures; define and identify the concerns or factors.
  • Experience with managing projects in order to achieve deliverables and adhere to timelines and budgets.
  • Experience with prioritizing and deciding appropriate course of actions.
  • Experience with effectively implement decisions.
  • Experience with communicating effectively both verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization, as well as, the skills to communicate site operations to outside agencies
  • Experience with interacting in multidisciplinary environment including engineering, operations, validation, technical services and QC/QA. Ability to work in a highly complex matrix environment.
  • Experience with influencing teams to develop consensus that is aligned with business goals; must be able to approach all opportunities and threats with an open mind and advocate for the best decisions utilizing project scope, schedule, quality and budget.
