It is a high-reaching goal that requires the research and development of solutions at the groundbreaking of biomedical Machine Learning and AI. If this excites you, we would love to chat. Job purpose:

Key responsibilities

  • This role will report to the Director of Product Design and demonstrate good experience as a UX Designer.

  • You'll collaborate with your squad(s) of multidisciplinary people.
  • You'll solve real problems through a mix of design thinking, lean design sprints, workshops, and dual-track agile. Whatever your methodology, we want someone hands-on and eager to solve problems pragmatically.
  • You'll take on complex tasks and turn them into intuitive and accessible experiences that transform the way our users achieve their goals, all the way from a first-time user to a sophisticated expert.
  • Working closely with user researchers, product managers and software engineers to collaboratively achieve the squad's OKRs.
  • You’ll work with and under the guidance of our senior researcher on building out personas, empathy maps, customer journeys, workflows, jobs to be done, and whatever it takes to help us thoughtfully inform the team about problems, solutions and our user's behaviours.
  • You'll design new user flows, pull together wireframes & prototype with Figma (preferred), Sketch or Adobe XD.
  • You'll utilise the GSK design system to pull together high fidelity UI's and ensure any new patterns are built with strong rationale.
  • You'll delight in experimentation and test your outputs on your end user, with support from user research.
Basic qualifications
  • 2+ year’s experience in UX efforts within a multidisciplinary team and delivered experiences to achieve measurable outcomes.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and presenting your designs to teams with rationale.
  • Good experience using Figma or similar and how to translate your designs into something our engineering team can use upon validation.
  • Some experience using design systems.
  • Experience working alongside researchers and product managers to ascertain the validity of your product and design direction.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience in the health, pharmaceutical industry or any other highly regulated industry.
  • Experience working with big data.
