The Associate Director of Value Access and Payment Analytics is part of the broader Business Insights & Analytics team. They will work closely with the Access Marketing, Payer and Organized Customer Sales, Pricing, Economics, Contracting & Government Pricing and other matrix teams to address access related questions.
Have functional expertise in Market Access field
Therapeutic knowledge of Oncology or related field is a bonus
Excellent communication and presentation skills are key
Work closely with the Strategic Payer Marketing teams to design access-related metrics that are aligned to current brand priorities, publish standard access-related deliverables, and act as the source of access metrics for broader brand and global scorecards.
Use superb analytics and business judgment to proactively identify, prioritize, and inform brands and the access organization of access-related problems and/or developments and respond to ad-hoc requests
Actively participate in discussions with and act as a resource across the matrix on projects related to pull through, copay cards, reimbursement services, payer segmentation, and other access related areas
Work with existing and develop new reports and analytical tools to enhance and streamline analytic efforts to improve quality and speed of ad-hoc access analytics
Support the data management and other hub teams’ evaluation of payer-related data purchases, determining how the data could help answer key business questions and articulating how the data compares to and compliments other currently available offerings.
Actively collaborate, share knowledge, and solicit feedback across the Analytics and the broader Access team matrix
Help oversee and manage external resources for VAP Analytics
Masters-level degree in business or a quantitative field strongly preferred; bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with a strong focus in the payer and market access areas.
A deep understanding of the payer and organized customer access environment.
Expertise working with large and complex sources of payer and sub-national industry data (e.g., APLD and claims data, retail and mail order Rx, formulary and medical policy, reimbursement, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to not only manipulate large data sets, but also draw inferences from disparate pieces of data and interpret findings to address strategic and tactical business questions.
Ability to draw inferences from disparate pieces of data, identifying key findings and linking to business strategies or objectives.
Creative business problem solving skills
Excellent project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to successfully lead multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and experience operating successfully in a complex, matrix organization.
