Job Description:

Key Finance role for newly formed / enhanced Strategy & Business Excellence (S&BE) group – a vital functional area within Global Product Development and Supply (GPS). The individual will drive the FP&A and financial controls agenda for S&BE providing support, guidance, and analytics as a valued business partner.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Business partner with SVP of Strategy & Business Excellence as well as individual sub-group leaders
  • Lead projection and budget prep, drive monthly close process, and provide ad-hoc financial analysis
  • Promote transparency, ownership, and clarity of financial performance within business unit
  • Support execution of strategic plan and resource allocation within the division
  • Enable sound data driven decision-making
  • Continuous monitoring and evaluation of risks / opportunities
  • Perform scenario planning and ad-hoc analysis to assist in validating new investments
  • Ensure all financials are accurately presented and maintained within a strong internal control environment
  • Drive continuous improvement to simplify processes and reduce manual work
  • Rigor-test business assumptions and enable appropriate risk-benefit trade-off discussions

Desired Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA and/or MBA preferred
  • Min. 5-7 years diversified experience in accounting and finance (FP&A) with upward progression
  • Experience with development of annual business plan/budget, financial projections
  • Excellent business partnering abilities
  • High level of proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial systems
  • Strong critical thinking and financial modeling skills
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls, strong financial and analytical skills
  • Strong communication, written, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a matrix environment working with multiple levels of management and partners in various geographic locations
  • Self-starter, highly motivated and able to make decisions independently
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs
