The Global Drug Development (GDD) organization oversees the development of new medicines discovered by our researchers and partners. We transform the lives of people by developing innovative and life-changing medicines.

*This position is based in East Hanover, NJ and is not eligible for remote work

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Understands and familiarize GxP way of working
• Understands GCS Supply Chain concepts of DS-CFG planning, Clinical Supply & Operations Planning (CS&OP), Long Term Demand and Capacity Planning (LTDCP), Shelf life management and financial planning
• Understands GCS Clinical Trial Supply concepts of clinical protocol, study design, generating demand forecast, Distribution plan, IRT Setup and Resupply planning
• Understands Tactical Planner concepts e.g. GCS Packaging locations, Resource and capacity planning, Rough cut capacity planning, capacity and technical risks.
• Understands External Operations Manager (EOM) concepts of vendor network, auditing, Re- quest For Quotation/Proposal (RFP), bidding and vendor selection, Grants, purchase orders, in- voice approval, tracking and financial planning.
• Understands Master Data setup and creation
• Understands IRT concepts of Novartis IRT (NIRT), Standard IRT (SIRT), clinical protocol set up and system life cycle
• Performs the assigned tasks independently/ under the guidance of senior associates.
