Job Description
At bswift, we see digital graphic design as visual storytelling that engages, informs, and inspires. We are looking for a highly creative graphic designer to join our Communications and Marketing team. This individual should be able to take conceptual ideas and convert them into impactful designs, both in print and electronic media. Our ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design software and be comfortable at every step of the design process from concept to final deliverable. Collaborating with multiple teams within the company, the graphic designer should be able to take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert to designs that connect. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing, with the ability to vary style and layouts depending on the project.
Description
Primary Job Responsibilities:
• Collaborate, brainstorm, and execute with multiple teams or clients for a wide range of materials that may include web pages, graphics-based emails, presentations, programming collateral, signage, internal communication, newsletters, and marketing materials
• Responsible for HTML programming of responsive graphics-based emails and web pages
• Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity
• Develop concepts and execute original designs determining ideal usage of color, text, fonts, imagery, and layout
• Create mockups based on the requirements, scope, and client’s brand guidelines
• Be flexible to make changes as required by the client or individual project objectives
• Maintain job files and ensure all final files are posted to SharePoint

Required Qualifications
• Proven experience with graphic design, with a strong portfolio of work
• Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills
• 5+ years’ experience professional) with design software, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, etc.
• Experience with CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript
• Attention to detail, highly organized and a self-starter
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Quick learner; Eager to pitch in and figure things out; Takes initiative
• Comfortable collaborating with a team as well as working independently
• Handles feedback well
• Passion and desire to do great work
• Experience generating designs consistent with an organization’s brand
• Experience creating press ready files
