Job Description
Assists in the development of enterprise and business unit strategic plans. Works on cross-enterprise initiatives as assigned. Responsible for providing analysis, guidance and direction within areas of expertise; and developing relationships with external consultants and cross-functional team members as required in support of initiatives. Address problems of a short to mid-term nature with limited supervision and develops capacity to address longer-term issues.

Lead formulation, preparation and communication of strategic/operational business, financial and expense plans Conducts research associated with business issues and plan formulation Monitor and report on performance relative to plans Stimulate strategic thinking in support of business direction Develop communication vehicles (e.g., presentations, speeches)

Develop issues relative to organization's strategic direction Ensure consistent, efficient and cost effective processes, procedures and appropriate accountability Manage special projects that impact entire organization Effectively manages organization's resources (e.g., staff, expenses, capital, assets) Exhibits behaviors outlined in Senior Strategic Planner Competencies

Required Qualifications
Must demonstrate creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in managing components of programs/ projects, decision-making, and evaluating outcomes. Successful record of crafting and managing complex, parallel work-streams with many cross-functional teams and dependencies; able manage ambiguity in a fast-paced environment

Proven project management skills and track record in meeting project milestones

Expertise in the body of knowledge, methods, and skills related to process improvement

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to adjust approach to accommodate your audience

Preferred Qualifications
5+ years experience with several of the following methodologies:

Management consulting, project consulting, business process consulting, financial strategic analysis, mergers and acquisitions, strategic business planning, and/or risk management consulting.

Experience with strategic finance and investment planning a plus.

Demonstrated relationship management skills at the senior level; capacity to quickly build and maintain credible relationships at varying levels of the organization simultaneously.

Demonstrated leadership with relevant initiatives:
Business process, enterprise business project management/consulting, financial strategic planning and analysis, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, risk

Demonstrated superior business process, project management and organizational redesign experience.
Demonstrated experience successfully implementing change in complex organizations.

Experience with enterprise-wide and/or cross-functional large scale initiatives with high degree of complexity

Masters degree preferred, but not required.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Appropriate licensure or certification by discipline preferred
