Communications Department Manager in GSK Pharma

Are you looking for an opportunity to lead and deliver optimal internal & external communication strategies across the portfolio and capitalize on business opportunities state and private stakeholders to? If so, this is the role for you.

As Communications Department Manager you will be responsible for delivering optimal communication strategies for the portfolio. You will also support the local operating company’s growth plans through effective internal & external relations.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Deliver global and European brand priorities and provide feedback with insights on in-market effectiveness
  • Responsible for internal communication with relevant Europe and Global stakeholders
  • Responsible for external communication with relevant institutions and stakeholders
  • Connect with customers on an ongoing basis to gain direct customer insight to develop commercial & communication opportunities
  • Establish, maintain, and manage relations with key decision makers & media representatives to ensure optimal access for GSK brands
  • Position the company as trusted and preferred partners among all relevant stakeholders
  • Develop, expand, and maintain the corporate communication platform to assure protection of company interests
  • Expand network of partners and allies to assure company is timely, accurately informed, and involved in activities relevant for the business
  • Provide direct business support through engagement with state and private stakeholders to detect, explore and capitalize on business opportunities
  • Support market access strategies to develop payer solutions, patient advocacy network, and development of public policies
  • Lead, coach and monitor the delivery and execution of the communication strategy
  • Participate in development of public, corporate, and media relations to assure company visibility and reputation
  • Represent the company at chambers and business associations and assure company priorities are respected
  • Explore opportunities to support business development and cooperation with relevant institutions
  • Analyze the competitive activities and environment systematically to facilitate the company’s targeted competition and provide feedback to Competitor Intelligence data to cluster functions to enhance competitiveness
  • Engage people in the decision-making process, conduct clear and fair communication, build understanding and support for changes, set a personal example of attitude, skills and knowledge to keep motivation and engagement of people
  • Comply with local legislation and corporate compliance standards in advertising and promotions
  • Cooperation with HUBs (R&D, HR, Finance, Procurement & Tech) operating in Poland

Why you?

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Economy, Political or Journalist Science
  • Experience in developing and implementing communication strategies and campaigns

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree
  • Experience in large scale national and regional project management, health systems/institutions management, health policy, health reforms, international development, international institutions policies, or health education
  • Proven track-record in delivering internal & external communication
  • 3-5 years experience on Comms Manager / Head in pharma international corporation
  • People management and coaching skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to influence others
  • Excellent in execution
