Job Description
Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Buffalo Grove, IL: Sr. Analyst, Data Engineering to formulate and apply mathematical and computational modeling methods towards data extraction and manipulation. Duties include: perform database list pulls for strategic initiatives to support communications to Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) members relating to formulary and benefit plan designs; execute structures SAS-SQL Teradata code to synthesize large amounts of relational data to optimize complex member communications to key audiences and perform quality assurance on list pulls; create and execute user acceptance test plans using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of analytics and behavioral design; communicate technical information (statistical methods, mathematical problems, databases) to business partners without a technical background to support data/fact-based business decisions; participate in forecast and capacity planning as well as steering committee and dashboard updates; manage projects across all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) including gathering business requirements, functional requirements, and overseeing ongoing operations; work with a cross-functional teams developing analytics products; utilize experience in CRM analytics and problem structuring and solving environment; apply expertise in databases and technologies/languages where appropriate (e.g., Teradata, Oracle, SQL, SQL server or structured programming); and work in a fluid environment, defining and owning solution priorities that adapt to larger organizational goals, and communicating effectively with business partners. Telecommuting available. Up to 10% domestic travel required.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 113,300
Maximum: 128,700

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications
Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Biostatistics, Biotechnology, or a related field and two (2) years of experience as Statistician, Statistical Programmer, SAS Programmer, or related occupation. Requires one (1) year of experience in each of the following: Work flow management tools, including Aprimo, Unica, or MS Project; Managing projects across all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), including gathering business requirements and authoring functional requirements; Creating and executing user acceptance test plans; Managing client engagement functions, including forecast/capacity planning using Excel, and dashboard updates using PowerPoint; Campaign management or Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM); Database or direct marketing; and Teradata, Oracle, SQL, SQL-server, or structured programming.
