We are currently recruiting for an Orals Manufacturing Improvements Lead, on an 18 month secondment basis based at Worthing. This role will facilitate the Manufacturing Operations activities to drive improvements within our fundamentals and capability agenda.
In this role you will…
Rapidly drive improvement around compliance and ways of working
Standard in place for ECA risk mitigation with clear ownership and accountability, providing tracking and reporting on progress
Embedded performance management at all tiers to ensure standards are adhered to and sustained
Training programme aligned to core role and fundamentals for new starters including DI and compliance understanding
Skills and competency matrix for all tiers across Ops and Eng team
Build oversight into Value Stream forums to review trends and feedback from Gembas
Embed ongoing development for both new and existing individuals in particular with a focus on compliance related activities like DI
Work to complete SWP identified actions across the Value Stream
Embed learnings from engagement survey and culture plan
Ensure full integration between Suspensions and Tablet teams to drive accountability for entire organisation
Identify and support CI activities

Basic Qualifications
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
A level/GCSE grades A-C (Maths, English and Science as a minimum)
Demonstrated track record in Pharmaceutical background with proven CI capabilities
Experience in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing/Packaging environment
Good behavioural approach, acts with integrity
Proven ability to matrix manage staff
Ability to deal confidently with a wide range of stakeholders
Ability to identify and act on improvement opportunities
Ability to prioritise and reallocate work to meet required timelines
Lean Sigma (or equivalent) certified
Preferred Qualifications/ Experience
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
Degree/ Lean Sigma or similar qualification with extensive experience
Excellent written, verbal and computer based skills
Good knowledge of IT systems such as Veeva
Strong planning and organisational ability
Good communications skills capable to communicate at shop floor to SVP level
Ability to coach, motivate and mobilise others in both Operations and in full end to end supply chain including all support functions
Strong reputation and credibility in making things happen
Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Highly effective under pressure
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Good working understanding/experience of End to end Manufacturing to Packaging processes including GMP/EHS requirements
