The Opportunity

We are hiring a GSMS Digital Designer on our Global Strategic Marketing Solutions team supporting our Rapid Diagnostics Division translating business goals and initiatives into compelling, innovative, clear and on-brand digital customer experiences. This position will report to the team Creative Lead and also take direction from team Senior Digital Designer.

What You’ll Work On

  • Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to execute integrated campaigns across all digital marketing channels

  • Ideate and execute deliverables for web, email, social, and paid media. Prepare files for development when applicable

  • Learn, adapt to, and closely follow specific Brand standards and industry best practices across all digital properties

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in design or relevant field preferred

  • 3-5 years digital design experience

  • Expert level of skill in Adobe Photoshop; editing, color correcting, and collaging stock photography

  • High level of skill in Illustrator; icon and illustration skills – both creating and editing icons and/or illustrations for digital use and creating complex gradients and learning the specific Brand requirements for their method of creation

  • Moderate level of skill in Indesign; opening files, leveraging graphics and content from these, and occasionally working from designs externally provided in this format.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat

  • Experience designing for web content management systems; proficiency with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) page building / content authoring and page templates, components, and Highly organized, detail oriented, and excellent communication skills

  • Excellent time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment

  • Must be comfortable with a remote position

  • Collaborative team player who can effectively communicate with various internal teams in a corporate environment

  • Well-versed in SEO best practices and social media trends

  • Strong design aesthetic and problem-solving abilities

  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and excellent communication skills

  • Excellent time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of HTML and CSS, and JavaScript are a plus

  • Some level of skill Premiere, After Effects, Sketch, Invision is a plus, must be willing to build this skill set; create and edit video a strong plus

  • High comfort level designing Digital Display ads, in both gif and html 5 formats; experience with Google Ad Designer a strong plus
