Job Description
The Vice President of Pharmacy Trade Products will lead a team focused on supporting the Trade group in the development and execution of CVS Pharmacy based Trade strategies to maximize value from pharma manufacturers (focused on branded products). The goal is to enable trade value potential for the entire enterprise.
The team will function as a ‘governance body’ that supports the development of new programs; coordinates and ensures correct execution – aligned with what was negotiated by Trade with manufacturers; specifically:
• Synchronize on/off operational features to support value from Optoff Invoice Discount; AIIMS program; Fair Market Value for Services; and Marketing spend
• Deliver data and reporting related services particularly for Specialty products and Retail
• Function as Trade’s key point of contact to drive development and implementation of valuable services / programs to be provided to Pharma vendors
• Ensure correct execution – e.g., synchronized turning on/off of programs aligned with what Trade negotiated with Pharma vendors. Team expected to coordinate with operations groups (e.g., Pharmacy personalization & growth, Mail, Specialty operations, etc.)
• Leverage shared functions and enterprise assets (Digital, Analytics, IT, MinuteClinics, Health Hubs, etc.) as needed to develop pharmacy products / services in support of these programs / priorities
• Translate manufacturers needs into specific products / services to be provided by PCD channels
• Develop pharmacy products / services aligned with manufacturers and patients’ needs in collaboration with Retail, Mail and Specialty operations
• Manage Pharma account management activities

The main goal is to further create value to CVS PCD by identifying and ensuring development of pharmacy products aimed to improve patient’s health (access to drugs, adherence, etc.) in partnership or aligned with our pharma manufacturer vendors. The role will have specific financial targets regarding value to be created through these services and the focus of this group will be directed to creating services for our Branded Products manufacturer vendors

Required Qualifications
• 15+ years of experience in pharmacy or pharma trade related functions
