Job Description
Aetna Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Hartford, CT: Manager, Informatics to produce business intelligence by querying healthcare data repositories and generating periodic reports. Duties include: build business intelligence reports and predictive models for CVS/Aetna stakeholders and account teams; automate BI reports using VBA/Python to create a robust analytics process; utilize Structured Query Language (SQL), high-level programming languages such as Python, R, the Statistical Analysis Software (SAS) platform, and enterprise-warehouse technologies to develop and maintain analytics process; continuously improve predictive models and implement/test new strategies every year to increase the efficiency of the Risk Adjustment process; execute Univariate and Multivariate Statistical analyses and interpret the results in-order to validate the business hypothesis; analyze healthcare data from various sources like Claims, RX, Lab or Provider to improve and monitor the Medicare Risk Adjustment process; and assist with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) related RADV compliance audits and Office of Inspector General (OIG) related Medicare audits.

Required Qualifications
Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Data Science, Business Analytics & Project Management, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field and one (1) year of experience in each of the following: SAS; MS Excel, including writing advanced excel formulas and using conditional, vlookups/hlookups, sorting and filtering, array formulas, and VBA macros, pivot reporting, and conditional formatting; predictive modeling and machine learning; statistical and data analysis; SQL; and healthcare analytics.
