Job Description

Our Supply Chain team ensures inventory is consistently available to meet customer demand. We coordinate all aspects of supply through supply planning, sourcing, making, inventory management, packaging and delivery. We partner across the Marketing, Finance and Manufacturing organizations to build a robust demand and supply plan and ensure we get products to the right customer, at the place, at the right time.

Essential Functions:

  • Domestic and Export Shipping. Office administrative tasks associated with operating a warehouse.

Primary activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Runs SAP reports on a daily basis to determine priorities and orders due for shipment.

  • Coordinates with Production, Planning, and Quality to get orders released to support order due dates.

  • Processes SAP system transactions to create deliveries and shipments used for RF Truck Loading.

  • Processes SAP system transactions to pick, pack, and post goods issue finished goods for shipping to Order Fulfillment Centers.

  • Processes SAP and GTS system transactions to execute export shipping to international sites.

  • Schedules transportation for domestic and export shipments on a daily basis.

  • Resolves and/or reports issues with the SAP system.

  • Investigates and resolves inventory issues in SAP.

  • Orders supplies such as PPE, pallets, and temperature monitors.

  • Attends daily production/tier meetings to address shipping related issues.

  • Works with Planning to adjust and re-open purchase orders as necessary.

  • Retains copies of receipt and shipping documents as required to support records retention.

  • Runs monthly reports in SAP to monitor Stock Transfer Orders, Sales Order, and unused deliveries.

  • Runs reports in CCM (Cold Chain Management) to track unregistered temperature monitors, temperature alarms, general trending, and quarterly reporting.

  • Creates purchase orders and approves vendor invoices in SAP.

  • Works with IDA Planners to provide required documentation for export shipments and secure Import Licenses or country approval as required.

  • Routinely arranges for Discard Authorizations (FA33s) to be pulled, discarded, and removed from inventory in SAP. Also, insures appropriate account numbers are charged upon completion.

  • Coordinates returns of finished goods from the distribution centers.

  • Cross trains on other administrative tasks in the warehouse such as scheduling and ordering of trucks, small parcel inbound and outbound shipments, timesheet and attendance tracking, etc.

  • Participates in continuous improvement projects in the warehouse.

  • Investigates and writes deviations, temperature excursion memos, TOCs adjustment memos, etc.

Basic Skills:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Knowledge of SAP.

  • Skilled in the use of computer systems with good working knowledge and use of data base programs and common application programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.

  • Good organizational skills and tracking of processes required.

Required Education:

  • BS/BA degree

  • OR a High School Diploma and 2 years export / shipping.

Required experience and skills:

  • SAP, logistics, exports and office administrative experience.
