Position Description:

The Customer Contract Management (CCM) Government Pricing (GP) Associate Director will manage all aspects of government price reporting for our Company’s US Market pharmaceutical and vaccine products.

This role will coordinate closely with all CCM segments, Legal, outside counsel, Human Health (HH) Integrated Account Management (IAM) and vaccine customer managers, brand team leadership, Our Manufacturing Division, and others to ensure accurate price reporting compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

The Associate Director will lead a team responsible for managing the calculation, review, submission, and certification of monthly and quarterly statutory pricing to various US government agencies and associated compliance control activities.

Located in Upper Gwynedd, Pennsylvania, this position will report to the Director, CCM Government Pricing and Federal.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Lead a team responsible for the calculation submission of accurate and timely pricing filings to government entities monthly and quarterly

  • Develop and maintain government pricing policies and reasonable assumptions

  • Monitor applicable legislation and regulations; identify and implement changes to GP systems and processes driven by the evolving regulatory environment

  • Continuously assess controls and implement changes to drive process efficiency and maintain compliance

  • Interact with our Company’s external government pricing stakeholders, including the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and others

  • Coordinate closely with the IAM and CCM segments to support the implementation of correct statutory contract pricing (Medicaid, 340B, Federal Supply Schedule)

  • Develop detailed knowledge of our Company’s commercial contracting strategies to support accurate government price reporting

  • Support Human Health (HH) Integrated Account Management (IAM) and vaccine customer managers in the development of profitable market access strategies

Position Qualifications:

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • Required: BA/BS

  • Preferred: MA/MS/MBA

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of two (2) years in the pharmaceutical industry or in some area of marketing, sales, operations, finance, government affairs, or managed markets

  • Exceptional analytical, project management, problem-solving, and oral and written communication skills

  • Organization, accuracy, high aptitude for compliance /transactional excellence

  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple internal and external stakeholders

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Knowledge of the managed healthcare environment and decision support systems

  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical government pricing
