Position Description Summary:

The Contract Operation Service (COS) Analyst is responsible for maintaining the high level of operational support within Customer Contract Management organization by providing advanced analytical and decision support to the customer segments and developing effective solutions that improve organizational efficiency and information accuracy. Additionally, the Contract Operation Service Analyst has responsibility for ensuring that CCM application portfolio is positioned to achieve departmental objectives and business needs by setting business priorities, providing business case justification and continuously identifying improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced analytical and reporting support for the customer segments requiring in-depth knowledge of customer segments data and business dynamics.

  • Engage in decision support and analytical activities for various Managed Care initiatives.

  • Provide advice, guidance and expertise to managers and contract analysts to determine and develop effective solutions that improve efficiency and minimize errors through utilization of existing data and reporting capabilities.

  • Perform necessary business system and data management functions, such as Product Group Administration, JAR tool Administration, Appian Tool Management, etc.

  • Work directly with various IT project teams and CCM customer segments to ensure the business needs and departmental objectives are achieved by setting business priorities, providing business case/justification, identifying opportunities for improvements

  • Lead business requirements gathering and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts for various Managed Care systems by providing subject matter expertise and ensure strict adherence to business needs.

  • Provide analytical and reporting support for legal requests as well as internal/external audits.

  • Ensure full Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance for all systems within the portfolio by performing activities related to User Access Security, Change Management, SOX Audit Reviews, etc.

  • Actively participate in various CCM IT workstreams by providing subject matter expertise and championing the efforts within various business areas.

Position Qualifications:

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • Undergraduate degree required

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience

  • Advanced analytical and problem solving skills

  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office family of applications (Word, Excel, Access, VBA)

  • Accuracy, attention to details and ability to work under strict deadline schedule

  • Strong project management and leadership skills

  • Ability to maintain customer focus at all times

  • Strong communication/presentation skills

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • CCM and/or RC (Model N) experience

  • Working knowledge of contract management

  • Working knowledge of direct and indirect customer purchasing environments

  • Appian experience
