Bristol Myers Squibb is looking for a Supplier Compliance Manager to join our amazing team in Devens, MA! If you have strong experience in quality management of suppliers - this is your opportunity! As our Supplier Compliance Manager, you will provide Quality oversight of non-conformances associated with GMP material and service providers. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure all aspects of quality compliance are successful executed for supplier investigations and/or complaints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance/support to the Devens site for discrepancy reporting, investigations, corrections, and actions for quality events associated with all areas of GMP operations including supply chain, manufacturing, and laboratories.

  • Collaborate with suppliers to drive resolutions to GMP material/service non-conformances identified at the Devens site.

  • Reviews and approves investigations/corrections performed by a supplier.

  • Makes sound decisions by exercising judgment within generally defined practices and policies and applies appropriate notification to management.

  • Participates in investigation review forums for the Devens site.

  • Perform trend review and metric reporting for supplier non-conformance investigations.

  • Requires minimal supervision when identifying and reporting discrepancies from defined practices or procedures to management, recommending and assisting with implementing of corrective actions.

  • Provides training on QA owned procedures. May also provide guidance to less experienced staff.

  • Represent quality team on cross-function meetings and improvement initiates.

  • Drives opportunities for continuous improvement through project leadership and group engagement.

  • May have direct supervision of non-exempt and/or exempt staff.

  • May assist in preparing for and hosting of regulatory inspections/audits.

Role Qualifications & Experience:

  • Knowledge of science generally attained through studies resulting in a B.S., in science, engineering, biochemistry or related discipline, or combination of education, experience and training.

  • A minimum 6 years of directly relevant experience in a regulated environment with 4 years focused on product quality is required.

  • Experience in quality management of suppliers that provide raw materials, consumables and services used in biotech bulk and finished product manufacturing is highly desirable.

  • Extensive knowledge of US and EU cGMP regulations and guidance.

  • Knowledge of Quality Risk Management (QMS) principles.

  • Working knowledge of electronic QMSs including any of the following: SAP, LIMS, TrackWise, Veeva/Infinity, SmartLAB, Syncade.

  • Work experience where attention to detail and personal accountability were critical to success.

  • Experience working in a team-based environment with a diverse group of people.

  • Excellent writing and oral communication skills are required.
