About The Job

As an Industrial Engineer – Capacity, you will partner with your team to develop and systematize solutions to solve complex factory problems; specifically, for capacity modeling, supply forecasting and cycle time modeling. You will be responsible for the design, implementation and support of data infrastructure, analytics & modeling.

In this role your specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Applies industrial engineering concepts to line management, scheduling and production planning
  • Apply factory physics principles (queue time, scheduling, cycle time, etc.) to optimize fab performance
  • Develop, automate and enhance Fab capacity modeling and analysis solutions
  • Develop and enhance analytics capabilities for modeling cycle time and capacity parameters.
  • Designs and coordinates projects with several different departments

Minimum Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelors in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or related area; and 2+ years of relevant industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Masters in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or related area; and 1+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience developing fab capacity modeling, and analysis solution
  • Working knowledge of database management methods and techniques including proficiency in SQL, Oracle.
  • Creates and uses analytical tools/data, data pipelines/ETL, visualizations, and applications to drive decisions
  • Experience using mathematical programming or constraint programming for optimization
  • Experience of using AMAT APF Product (RTD, AutoSched) or other commercial simulation products
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, and ability to develop and maintain business/technical documentation
  • Strong networking and influencing skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting and structured problem-solving skills
