Position Overview

Will perform a variety of tasks including prepping material to be painted. Hanging and removing products on and off paint line.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for the care of routine maintenance and keeping the work area neat and clean.
  2. Follow all safety rules including wearing of proper PPE
  3. Using handheld power tools to clean/vibrate material in preparation of being painted.
  4. Assist in hanging material on paint line.
  5. Assist in removing material from paint line and moving to correct location for assembly.
  6. Clean/paint galvanized products
  7. Filling and emptying of paint hoppers
  8. Maintain all paint hoppers to include proper cleaning
  9. Making sure the correct paint is available before product is hung.
  10. Keeping track of orders and prints to ensure proper paint color is used.
  11. Maintain a clean work environment
  12. Disposing of empty paint boxes.
  13. Cleaning and changing filters as needed.
Skills and Experience
  1. Able to operate power tools.
  2. Physical ability to do work requiring frequent standing, sitting and bending, as well as pushing, pulling and lifting up to 25 lbs. frequently and 50 LBS occasionally.
  3. Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports.
  4. Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machines and inspect parts.
  5. Sufficient manual dexterity to operate the equipment properly.
