Background & Purpose of the Job

The Execution planner champions the voice of planning at Unilever manufacturing locations. Equipped with strong collaboration, negotiation and trade-off analysis, this role drives cross functional synchronization in the supply chain. Also, this role spearheads the future readiness of our supply network (factories and suppliers).

Manage constrained sourcing unit schedule with information from Supply Planners and sourcing unit operations teams with a varying style of focus:

  • Historical – ensure learnings are identified and if predictions were correct
  • 1-4 week rolling capacity constrained plan
  • 4+ weeks managing downtime requirements and other inputs to RCCP, ensuring planning targets are being met, identifying root causes for gaps and potential mitigation

This role is accountable to be the sourcing unit link to planning and manage the schedule of all FG SKUs at a particular site.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate/align with factories (calendar and labour), MRP and MPS for line scheduling
  • Create (as per MPS), align (with factory and supply planner), publish and adjust line schedule
  • Incorporate adjustments through collaborations - Innovations, Breakdowns, Unplanned Maintenance
  • Manage plant stocks to ensure conformance to line schedule plan and manage volume of product left from change overs, reworks
  • Plan the delivery of materials, monitor delivery logistics and lead mitigation actions (Call off)
  • Drive 3PL interactions and follow-ups and support crisis management with suppliers, 3PL
  • Align Line Scheduling to make changes to Production plan based on Supplier confirmation
  • Collaborate with Execution organizations to ensure conformance to line schedule plan, materials availability and run strategy
  • Manage unexpected plant shutdowns or extraordinary events communication to Execution
  • Incorporate adjustments through collaborations - Innovations, Breakdowns, Unplanned Maintenance

What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations / Supply Chain or equivalent experience
  • Relevant experience in Supply Chain, Planning, Manufacturing or similar field (1B: 1+years, 1C: 3+ years)
  • Empowerment, Experimentation and Collaboration a must
  • Strong relationship management and team leadership both internally and externally
  • Holding people accountable, developing self and others, breakthrough thinking, optimizing Supply Chain integrated performance, strategic vision and influencing
