What You Will Gain From this Role:

  • Understand the strong link between the wafer fabs and TI’s ability to grow and gain share

  • Develop a solid understanding of front-end wafer processing and stockroom inventory analytics

Roles and responsibilites:

  • Factory-level tactical execution manager and long-term strategy planner

  • Stockroom: Manages the facilities, on-site suppliers, materials vendors, TI-owned and supplier-owned (SMI and consignment) stockroom inventory, as well as the cost, capacity planning, and SAP material management processes supporting the stockroom operations at the factory level.

    • Executes and maintains the processes and procedures for optimal stocking levels at the least cost

    • Approves the costs assumed by the stockroom for order/replenish /repaired materials

    • Leads the internal / external repair process for broken or worn parts.

  • Inbound and outbound logistics:

    • Liaison with Transportation and fab capital teams

    • Partner with internal customers, vendors, and WFL collaborators to manage international and domestic shipments, wafer movement (raw, iFAB, MFF, production/CSF), improve processes, and resolve problems

  • Manages the on-site 3rd party logistics team (3PL) and partners with regional 3PL management

  • Regular cadence of meetings with engineers and fab manager to stay aligned

  • Leads logistics projects, including but not limited to Stockroom to Fab Tubing System Project

  • Partner with procurement, facilities, transportation, engineering, manufacturing and equipment to address logistics, stocking and fab issues

  • Global stockroom strategy partner

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required

  • Minimum 3 years stockroom or logistics leadership experience required

  • SAP knowledge required


  • Effective and flexible problem-solving skills – comprehend, plan and react in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

  • Previous experience – i.e. inventory management, shipping/transportation, procurement or planning and / or understanding of fab operations and tooling

  • Effective communicator, working across internal and external organizations and various management levels

  • Dynamic partner in a team structure and can work collaboratively with others

  • Customer service mindset - Can develop and maintain collaborative relationships with factory-level internal customers
