The Opportunity

Daikin Comfort Technologies Manufacturing, L.P. is seeking a skilled individual for our Regional Purchasing Manager position at our DTTP - Waller, TX location. Responsible for managing the ordering process for all parts and supplies direct to the Goodman branches. To include specific vendor management and inventory management along with supporting branches, vendors and sales teams for sales growth. About DTTP

Daikin Texas Technology Park- has a footprint of 4.23 million square feet under a single roof, and is the third largest factory in the United States. Opened in 2017 as the manufacturing, logistics, and engineering center for Daikin's American subsidiary Goodman, the plant makes heating and air conditioning products sold under the Goodman, Amana, and Daikin brands.

Qualifications

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Systems Experience: Mapics/Mincron
  • Product Knowledge: HVAC Aftermarket Parts
  • Strong delivery focus with good analytical, communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Project and change management skills and experience.
  • Flexible approach, stake holder management, good organizational and planning skills.

Experience:

  • 3+ years

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years or working experience in planning/inventory management
