Job Description

Over the course of the summer, the Intern, Field, Lifestyle, and Experiential Marketing Operations, will support the Field and Lifestyle & Experiential marketing departments and drive key initiatives as needed by each department. The individual will play a key role in supporting the Field Marketing and Lifestyle & Experiential teams with national and local brand planning processes, interfacing with brand managers and associates on key milestones, and deliverables across the beer portfolio with some interaction with our wine & spirits teams.

  • Seeks out and is informed of latest consumer engagement trends across social, experiential, venue technology, festival technology and music industries.
  • Support Senior Manager, Field, Lifestyle & Experiential Marketing Operations in implementation of the measurement, evaluation and valuation model across all current partnerships.
  • Collaborate with Senior Manager and agency partners on the build out and implementation of a creative hub, inclusive of:
    • Collation of creative assets from a variety of brand managers and agency partners
    • Tagging and organizing creative files
    • Working with the Field Marketing and Brand teams to determine full scope of needs
    • Provide a POV on creative hub wireframes and functionality, based on information gathered from various stakeholders
  • Assist in building out a framework and inputs for the Constellation Contracts Database
    • Sort through system contracts
    • Identify keywords/tags/assets to enhance searches by users
    • Develop searchable contract summaries that will populate the database
  • Assist Senior Manager in driving optimizations throughout Field Marketing, Lifestyle & Experiential, Brand team, and Sales team functions with a shared marketing/events calendar, and streamlined local and national event communications templates and package ordering processes.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis and participate in special projects which drive stakeholder value.
  • Work with Field Marketing teams to research & uncover consumer insights to build strategic marketing plans.
  • Build and organize a visual database of existing CBI beer brand bar builds throughout the country.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Completing junior year and working towards degree in Marketing, Sports Marketing, Sports Management and/or relevant field of study
  • Creative, enthusiastic self-starter with ability to multi-task and work well with others as a team
  • Desire to understand the commercial side of a CPG company with a heavy sales interface
  • Highly organized as well as ability to be highly flexible in a fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Passion for sports, music, entertainment, lifestyle and partnership marketing and learning about omnichannel 360-degree consumer touchpoints.
  • Understanding of, or willingness to learn, brand strategy and how to implement it across various consumer touchpoints.
  • Passion for cultural Sponsorship and Events world – including sports, music, wine & food, and similar events
  • Ability to work in a cross functional, high pace environment in both virtual and in-person form
  • Creative thinker not intimidated to propose creative new ideas to enhance marketing programming making it more relevant and engaging
  • Strong communication skills across all forms of communication (written, presentation) with varying audiences (marketing/sales leadership, internal, field sales, field marketing sponsorship partners and agencies).
  • Ability to use consumer insights, syndicated information and other metrics to build business cases and analysis around sponsorship opportunities and ROI evaluation.
  • Experience working with or helping create digital databases a plus
