Intern, Trade Marketing (W&S)
Job Description
The Intern, Trade Marketing, will support in the planning, fulfillment, execution, and development of seasonal national off premise (retail) and on premise (dining, lodging, recreation) programs in support of the Constellation Brands. They will work across a spectrum of internal clients including Brand, E-Commerce, Field Marketing, Lifestyle & Experiential, Legal, Procurement and Sales to ensure alignment with and achievement of short- and long-term business goals. They will support the Associate Manager and Manager as a project coordinator, overseeing the inception and execution of national programs, ensuring successful delivery against budgets and timelines while maintaining brand standards. The successful candidate will have the ability to consistently innovate, have a keen understanding of the consumer, be able to understand the needs of our trade and national account customers and develop methods and tools to maximize resources to develop promotional materials to support national programming.
Responsibilities
- Work on special projects to help identify opportunities to drive purchase of Constellation’s wine and spirit portfolio.
- Assists with the development of national strategies and tactics to build brands and drive purchase intent.
- Helps to manage the execution of national retail programs by working with below the line agencies on the creative development of promotional graphics.
- Gains exposure to the annual brand planning process.
- Assists in the creation of national campaign ordering tools and reviews details for accuracy.
- Supports in the development of program activation sheets that Sales will leverage to sell programs into accounts.
Minimum Qualifications
- Undergraduate majoring in Marketing, Business, Public Relations or Advertising
- Strong Microsoft Office experience, specifically PowerPoint, Word, Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Requires excellent written and oral skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.
- Must have excellent customer service skills with the ability to work with and present to both internal and external customers.
- Works well in a fast-paced, action-oriented team where priorities constantly change, and time frames are critical. Must manage time well and be highly organized in the delivery of multiple deliverables across multiple programs and brands
- Highly motivated and detail oriented
- Ability to work from late May to August
