We are seeking resumes for a Clerk Shipping in our Receiving Department in Atlanta, Georgia facility on 1st shift


Principle Accountabilities:

  • Maintain and file records, completes and distributes reports for outgoing/incoming shipments.
  • Utilize computer system to generate reports/tags, input and verify applicable information to ensure accuracy of counts and other data, accurately close bill of ladings.
  • Input, upload and manipulate data within spreadsheets, maintaining accuracy and integrity of all data.
  • Proactively communicate with internal customers regarding scheduling changes for shipping/receiving.
  • Addresses customer inquiries regarding shipments/receivables in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist department personnel, when needed, to balance the workload, organize area, and perform general cleaning.
  • Communicate daily shipments/staging and cycle counting information to material handlers/production.
  • Ensure all paperwork related to incoming/outbound shipments is accurate.
  • Willing to cross train and work with other team members on tasks for team members’ customers.
  • Must work on production line, as needed and work dictates.
  • Depending on staffing levels, may be required to operate forklift and maintain applicable licensures.
  • Adheres to all safety and work rules, company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.


Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Ability to work the 2nd shift, which is approximately noon-8pm.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft office, specifically Microsoft Excel.
  • Prior experience in administrative role within a shipping/receiving/comparable area.
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime on short notice, both during the week and weekends.
  • Ability to work in production environment, with varying temperatures based on season, around machinery, and heavy forklift traffic.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a fulfillment environment.
  • Prior experience operating forklift.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously.
  • Ability to work within a team, effectively communicating with members.
  • Able to work independently, set priorities, and delegate tasks, as needed.
  • Must be able to solve problems, independently.
