Reengineer the Close is a Financial Management Transformation initiative to reimagine our approach to financial close processes and reporting. This role requires understanding of diverse technology solutions, IT service and Agile way of working. The ideal candidate will leverage their technology skills to become a trusted technology partner for the Financial Management teams we support.
Lead team of developers to deliver high-quality business outcomes
Coach and educate team on industry trends and emerging technologies
Foster an Agile environment of high-energy, high collaboration and customer focus
Collaborate with global technology partners, architects, chief product owner, product owners and team members to drive outcomes
Design the overall technological architecture to integrate multiple investments systems with Oracle ERP
Guide teams on technology strategy related to coding practices, continuous integration, and automated deployment, and help to interpret technology strategy into consumable units of work deployed to the teams
Identify processes creating tech debt and re-engineer them through automation to reduce cost and execution time.
Demonstrated experience with taking intelligent risks and leveraging a ‘test and learn’ mentality
Degree with a concentration in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
7+ years of experience in the development and design of complex applications with 2+ years managerial experience
Worked in Agile development environment, Knowledge of DevOps, and CI/CD pipeline
Proficiency in languages like Python, PySpark and working with large datasets packages like Pandas and Numpy is strongly preferred
Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented architecture skills. Experience in working with databases like SQL Server, Oracle, and AWS cloud technologies like Redshift, S3, Glue and Containers
Working experience with analytics and BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, Oracle Essbase or Oracle BI is required
Experience in integrating various custom designed applications with the vendor products like ERP is a big plus
Knowledge of self-service tools like RPA, self-extract data tools and ETL is a plus
Understanding of Asset Management businesses and investments platforms is a plus
