Prudential’s Sourcing and Workforce Solutions (SWS) team empowers Prudential globally to drive the greatest value by leveraging supplier partnerships. SWS provides our internal business partners with easy access to technology products and services at the greatest value through business insights, market knowledge, seamless and efficient processes, and professional expertise.

As a Manager of Technology Sourcing Demand Management, a function within SWS, you will support the Senior Demand Management team, be accountable for the Global Technology (GT) Demand Intake Portal for 3rd Party Labor requests, you will interface with the Northstar Governance Intake portal and be accountable for the centralized Technology Sourcing mailbox in addressing day-to-day support needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing Technology Demand 3rd Party labor requests

Interacting with NorthStar Governance team on their 3rd Party labor needs

Oversight and review of Technology sourcing mailbox including 3rd party

sourcing requests, Govern X requests, and responding to inquiries in a timely manner while meeting SLA’s

Reviewing, inquiring, and approving sourcing requests and ensuring they meet criteria and are compliant with the overall sourcing strategy

Oversight of the recording and updating of requests into the system

Interacting effectively with internal business partners and other cross functional teams on behalf of demand strategy team, serving as a change agent who moves the dial on demand fulfillment by identifying, recommending and implementing change based on business needs and enterprise sourcing strategy

Creating insights relative to demand management and performance based on data and conveying them consistently and clearly to the Senior Demand Management team

Supporting the Senior Demand Management team with overall management of relationships with business units, resource utilization management, business case development, metrics and reporting

Acting with integrity, leading inclusively and driving higher performance when working with all stakeholders—the business, Global technology colleagues and other members of the SWS team

Qualifications:

3 to 5 years related work experience in procurement, demand management or sourcing

Bachelor's degree in business or a similar discipline

Analytical ability to quickly mine data, gather facts, perform root cause analysis and draw supportable conclusions

Experience with Microsoft Suite, specifically creating presentations and reports in Powerpoint and Excel including pivot tables

Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently

People Management experience, knowledge of project management principles and methodology

Strong communication skills both verbal and written
