Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Be part of the team that's radically changing the retail landscape.

About the Team

Walmart's Product Organization is driven by excellence in customer and associate experiences. Why? Because Sam Walton founded our company with the belief that the customer is #1, always. And now it's not just a belief, or our way of doing business-it's our obsession. With the customer and associate continually at the forefront of our thinking, the Product Organization delivers new, unexpected, and exciting ways of shopping.

In November of 2019 John Furner became President and CEO of Walmart U.S., bringing with him the powerful Four-in-the-Box (4ITB) model he championed at Sam's Club. In February of 2020, Meng Chee was brought on as Walmart's Chief Product Officer and changed how we see the customer experience through the lens of a Product Mindset. Combined these two strategies have catapulted Walmart lightyears ahead of the competition.

Millions of customers shop in-store and online at Walmart every day. Walmart employs tens of thousands of associates to support those interactions. Over a hundred 4ITB Teams create the products that lead to happy, satisfied customers and enthusiastic, engaged associates. You can be a part of what's happening here at Walmart in the Product Organization, building best-in-class experiences that help deliver on the promise of saving our customers money and time, and living better. This is that place. This is Walmart.

About the Role

You are a motivated Product Manager, eager to deliver product excellence and help our customers live more focused and fulfilled lives. You want to empower cross-functional teams to be better, faster, and smarter by enhancing ways of working, deploying tools to improve productivity, identifying training opportunities, and communicating important news and information.

  • Evangelizing Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) - in coaching teams in OKR management and reinforcing the importance of outcomes over outputs
  • Building collaborative relationships - by identifying key partners and stakeholders and incorporating their input throughout the PDLC
  • Influencing vision and strategies - through the application of product vision and mindset

You'll sweep us off our feet if...
  • You're excited about solving complex challenges
  • You're customer-centric in spirit and in execution, and up to date with emerging industry trends and developments
  • You're comfortable influencing others, leading discussions, managing stakeholders, getting buy-in from leadership, and communicating clearly
  • You have a test and learn mentality and leverage Agile ways of working
  • You like digging into data and doing analysis
