Position Summary...

What you'll do...

  • Manage the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; develop and communicate business plans and priorities; remove barriers and obstacles that impact performance; provide resources; identify performance standards.
  • Develop, prioritize, and execute key business strategies and communication platforms by managing cross-functional initiatives that impact store and corporate processes; develop merchandising programs and initiatives, customer and company communications, and associate training content; and translate merchandise strategies for assigned departments into executable programs for store operations.
  • Manage projects by building project plans; assign projects and tasks to associates; schedule projects; document project scope; develop scorecards and metrics; develop short and long term plans.
  • Manage the development of associates by providing training and support; monitor associates growth; share key learning; provide feedback and coaching on performance; provide input on performance appraisals; select team members; and ensure associates have the knowledge and skills necessary to advance.
  • Drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; develop and communicate business plans and priorities; remove barriers and obstacles that impact performance; provide resources; identify performance standards; measure progress and adjust performance accordingly; develop contingency plans; and demonstrate adaptability and support continuous learning.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting, training, mentoring and assigning duties; build a team-based work environment; establish performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; provide recognition and rewards; coach for success and improvement; and ensure diversity awareness.
  • Promote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensure compliance with them; and utilize and supporting the Open Door Policy.


You'll make an impact by...
  • Measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.
  • Making recommendations for system support developments; recommending merchandise priorities for store operations; providing insight to senior management and other business partners on key issues and opportunities to drive the business
  • Overseeing projects from start to completion; and completing projects in accordance with agreed upon timelines.
  • Ensuring business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives.
  • Consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events.


You'll sweep us off our feet if...

  • You have experience with technical skills, data mining, automation (Alteryx, Power BI, SQL, Tableau, Hadoop)
  • You are proficient with Excel (Vlookups, Pivot Tables, Formulas)
  • You have experience with solving problems, managing projects, and communicating effectively
