As part of Walmart Connect (WMC), you'll champion new innovations and experiences that enable Walmart suppliers to connect with shoppers with creative and relevant ads via high performing campaigns, while helping shoppers discover products to enhance their shopping journey. If you are motivated by complex, purposeful challenges, a Senior Manager, Product Management role at WMC could be the fit you've been looking for. We are looking for a Product Manager leader to help reimagine the way we empower brand advertisers to reach their audience on Walmart properties/apps for our Display product. Ideal candidates have managed a small team of 2-3 PMs in their prior life.

You will champion a product vision, strategy, and roadmap for multiple products within a large product domain in support of corporate goals and objectives by using customer and market research, customer and user feedback, customer usage, and competitive analysis to identify new product opportunities and enhancements; and working with multiple functions to build and evaluate business cases to support product investment decisions.

You will own the product roadmap and influence stakeholders while driving the product discovery process by collaborating with the Business, User Experience, and Engineering Teams during discovery to assess value, usability and feasibility of product features; specifying, prioritizing, and communicating high level and detailed product specifications; and using written specifications, business rules, flows, cases and user experience generated deliverables (for example, prototypes, wireframes, design and copy documents).

Supports product implementation and deployment by engaging with Engineering and Project Management during implementation to answer questions and make scope trade off decisions; working closely with Sales and Business to launch products and ensure their adoption; coordinating post-launch activities to validate that the product works as designed and that acceptance testing was successful; managing the development of training materials; training and supporting users on new product features; managing close-loop feedback cycles to encompass customer and advertiser comments and needs; and defining, tracking and improving key product metrics.

You'll make an impact by:

  • Driving product lifecycle from requirement definition, research, metrics analysis, technical specifications, development, testing, KPIs and other launch efforts.
  • Defining vision and strategies for your product family, using domain expertise, internal and external best practices; identifying market opportunities, building business cases, and approving objectives.
  • Conducting industry and competitive analysis to understand the emerging trends in advertising industry to identify new opportunities. Conduct customer research to define customer segments and identify needs to inform product roadmap.
  • Developing and enhancing products - you will manage product roadmaps, align business and technical needs, analyze customer and product data, turn customer insights into actionable initiatives, determine rollout strategy, and manage risks.
  • Building collaborative relationships with key partners by driving priorities aligned to business goals, communicating, and prioritizing product roadmaps, and gaining buy-in from executive leadership.

  • Partnering with internal advertising sales team and Walmart retail teams to create unique, compelling experiences that benefit shoppers and our advertising clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 4+ years in product management, Advertising esp. with customer experience.

  • Quantitative or engineering background is preferred.
  • Online display advertising industry experience is required and experience with Supply side and Demand side Ad platforms is highly desirable.
  • Sound business judgment as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements, and prioritize.
  • Must be able and willing to think and act strategically and tactically.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, proven ability to influence others internally and externally.
