Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Prepares and maintains all records, files, transactions, and other required documentation from wholesale trade orders; creates and interprets reports containing financial analyses; assists daily with accounting-related duties; and maintains confidentiality and integrity of financial and personal information.

Maintains and processes shipments for wholesale trade orders in accordance with federal, state, and local guidelines as well as Company policies and procedures by developing and posting delivery schedules, compiling and organizing receiving reports, verifying merchandise counts, routing merchandise to proper locations according to Member specifications and shipping requirements, and paying expenses.

Works with receiving to receive and/or verify wholesale trade merchandise, and organizes and maintains the wholesale trade area by following Company procedures, utilizing equipment appropriately, and completing paperwork, logs, and other required documentation.

Operates hardware such as cash registers or related equipment, processes member purchases, and assists in payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges using appropriate procedures for different membership and payment types.

Develops and supports Membership by communicating and explaining Membership types, programs, and benefits to current and prospective Members to assist with account decisions, builds Membership levels, encourages renewals, and promotes the value of Sam's Club products and services.

Provides Member service by acknowledging the Member, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues and concerns, and promoting the Company's products and services.

Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps, following proper forklift spotting procedures, following proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials, following Company steel standard guidelines, and correcting/reporting unsafe situations to Management.

Prepares wholesale trade orders for shipment by completing all required forms and contacting any required organizations to ensure inspection and/or compliance of merchandise before shipment.

Works with Home Office replenishment contact to coordinate and schedule the delivery of new merchandise for wholesale trade orders.
