Investment Management Product Pricing Specialist (Hybrid)

PGIM Fixed Income is seeking a highly collaborative, motivated, and global client-focused member to join our Product Strategy & Development team as a Product Pricing Specialist. We are looking for an individual who is intellectually curious, operates well in ambiguity, has a strong perception of risk, and is adaptive to change. The best candidate is a strong independent worker with attention to detail who is able to communicate effectively. The Product Pricing Specialist will handle asset management fee requests for both separate accounts and funds along as well as maintain data for trend analysis. The Specialist is encouraged to apply critical thinking skills to enhance the data analysis process. The role is highly strategic with high internal visibility as it has a direct input in the overall revenue growth of PGIM fixed income. The ideal individual is able to leverage knowledge while using an agile approach to drive outcomes and foster new ideas. The role requires the Specialist to work closely with senior management, domestic and international salespeople and client managers, as well as marketing, legal and PGIM Fixed Income affiliates.
Drive revenue growth by identifying product pricing trends in relation to economic outlook while understanding how PGIM Fixed Income’s perspective is tied.
Construct detailed product pricing proposals and conclusively present proposals to management.
Actively seek and gather information based on the details provided by salespeople/client managers within the product pricing requests.
Review and comprehend legal documentation during the client onboarding process.
Understand the client management, sales, and invoicing processes with intentions to build on this knowledge to better align product pricing strategies.
Multi-task initiatives to timely completion often with tight deadlines.
Recognize the downstream impact of decisions to mitigate PGIM Fixed Income’s risk.
Assist with business specific special projects as needed
Your Required Skills:
Knowledge of Fixed Income and credit, with knowledge of pooled vehicles preferred (UCITS, QIF, SICAV, FCP, 40 Act funds etc.)
3-5 years financial analysis experience within asset management or capital markets
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Bachelor’s degree in finance or economics with strong academic performance
Desire and ability to communicate to professionals at all levels, collaborate with others and have a strong attention to detail
Highly motivated and creative problem solver; able to work independently
Able to organize and prioritize tasks, working in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
PGIM believes in the Power of a Hybrid work arrangement. Candidate must be able to work 3 days a week (Tuesday-Thursday) in our Newark, NJ office.

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations.
The salary range for this role is from $75,000 to $95,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits.
Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
