At Meta, you can play a key role in leading this movement on our Global Customer Small Business Marketing team.We are looking for a creative leader to oversee a team of talented designers and writers to drive growth for our small business customers and Meta’s business. This leader will have the opportunity and responsibility to drive the creative approach and oversee the asset development for performance and growth campaigns that inspire customer action. They will have proven experience at delivering high-impact, high-performing campaigns and believe in innovative, creative and experimental approaches to deliver results. Required SkillsHead of Creative, Small Business Marketing Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of creative experts to build campaigns that connect with customers and deliver on business goals: Create a culture of positivity and learning, developing and growing the team members capabilities and careers. Set a clear and inspiring creative vision for the team that elevates the quality of creative work
  • Lead on developing innovative and strategic creative solutions for business objectives/challenges
  • Partner within the Small Business Marketing team and across cross-functional partner teams to conceptualize, craft and launch a large volume of performance marketing assets (web, email, ad, photo, illustration, motion, video) that amplify the brand and drive results
  • Design an ideal-state creative team operating model that maximizes output effectively and efficiently. Work with PM to manage workload, track and report progress and deliver against deadlines
  • Use qualitative and quantitative data and insights to build a deep understanding of the small business customer (needs/motivations) and the competitive landscape to inform compelling approach
  • Embody a test/learn/scale mentality - analyze performance data and have a point of view on how to action on learnings
  • Build productive and collaborative relationships with design leaders in other departments (Meta, Instagram, Facebook App, WhatsApp, Messenger), staying up to date on the evolving brand guidelines and evangelizing across the Small Business Marketing team
Minumum QualificationMinimum Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of agency/in-house experience concepting and art directing ideas for marketing, brand, and/or product
  • 5+ years experience managing and growing a team and overseeing operations
  • Experience in growth/performance marketing, online advertising and/or small and medium businesses
  • A developed design background, including leadership over the entire design process (responding to briefs, presenting concepts, iterating on feedback) and an interest for current industry trends, coupled with understanding of user experience
  • Experience in latest design tools and resources including Figma, Sketch, and all Adobe Creative Suite programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) as well as presentation materials including Keynote, Google Slides, and PowerPoint
  • Portfolio available online that showcases visual and technical solutions across multiple design challenges, with key performance metrics (applications submitted without a portfolio will not be considered)

  • A keen eye for detail and craftsmanship while also considerate of deadlines and constraints
  • Comfortable in a face-paced, highly collaborative work environment
  • Understanding of Facebook Business products (Facebook Pages, Instagram Business Account, Ads Manager, Commerce Manager, etc.)
