Job Summary

Responsible for developing sales strategies through analysis for the Product Sales Support Manager and makes recommendations that will maximize Responsible for analyzing and evaluating operational performance metrics and resources in support of Masergy’s GTM organization. Maps metrics against the Company's operational plans and tactical/strategic goals to ensure alignment and focus. Creates and facilitates reporting and analysis to evaluate operational initiatives and drive operational efficiencies. Develops and maintains standard reporting measures, quantitative explanation of relevant data and ongoing analysis of alternatives and solutions. Quantitatively evaluates and recommends action plans, based on all operational reporting and analysis, in order to enhance the sales performance and drive operational efficiencies. The ideal candidate will have experience serving as a strategic business partner and trusted advisor to a global sales executive; delivering strategy, planning and operational capabilities in a growing organization; and partnering with sales and functional leadership to drive GTM strategy, increase sales productivity and operate efficiently at scale.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Support weekly, monthly & quarterly reporting and forecasting for the sales organization, identifying significant changes and trends that will materially impact our growth trajectory.

  • Identifies issues, analyzes available data and information and recommends changes to management.

  • Build and manage systems for reporting (i.e. InsightSquared, Tableau, Salesforce Analytics)

  • Consolidates data reports and delivers to help drive data-based strategic decision making.

  • Identify and build/improve key sales processes to ensure efficiency and high performance across teams that scale over time.

  • Make recommendations to help improve productivity & performance; proactively review and identify leading and lagging indicators.

  • Develop accurate reporting and insights on sales performance with Salesforce or Tableau

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Education and Experience:

  • College Degree in Business Systems, Sales, Marketing, or equivalent

  • 5+ years’ experience in sales operations and/or business analysis

  • Experience in telecommunications or networking industry preferred

  • Exceptional organization, prioritization, and time management skills

  • Must be intellectually curious, strategic, and thrive on diving into complex problems.

  • Ability to transform data into actionable items.

  • Able to build strong, trust-based relationships with partners at all seniority levels inside the organization
